CWU Delegation Goes to Taiwan for Academic Exchange

A China Women’s University (CWU) delegation went to Taiwan for academic exchange from June 24–30, in order to strengthen and improve the level of cooperation with its counterparts; and to further study the local teaching, scientific research and educational situation.

The delegation included Dean of the School of Management Zhang Lili, Dean of the School of Art & Design Wang Lu, Director of Personnel Department Ren Cuiru, Director of Foreign Affairs Office Ye Shuiping, Director of Students’ Affairs Division Zhang Ruizhi, Vice-Director of the Enrollment and Employment Office Zhou Zhihui, and Director of Teaching and the Research Office of the Law School Tang Fang,. It was led by the Chairperson of the University Council Li Mingshun.

The delegation visited Taiwan Shin Hsin University (SHU), Providence University, I-Shou University, University of Kang Ning.

During a visit to SHU, the delegation had a meeting with SHU President Yung-chian Wu and related department heads, and reached a consensus about deepening bilateral cooperation.

The delegation also attended a graduation ceremony for exchange students from CWU. Later, they inspected students’ learning and living conditions in Taiwan.

During their visits to other three universities, the delegation communicated with the local school leaders and relevant department officials, and reached consensuses on teacher training, student exchange, and joint research.
