CWU Holds Twelfth “Listening to Your Heart, Talking about Growth—Date with President”
On September 29, the twelfth “Listening to Your Heart, Talking about Growth—Date with President” was held at Shuiyu café. Liu Liqun, president of China Women’s University(CWU), took part in the conversazione with 10 students from different schools and departments.
In an hour and a half of communication, Liu explained several topics that attract students’ special attention in detail, including the international exchange program, postgraduate education, and campus construction. Combining with CWU policies and situation, Liu made suggestions on students’ expectation.
Liu pointed out that the most important function of schools is to serve the students. CWU would coordinate resources overall, and consider students’ needs on the basis of equality. both undergraduates and higher vocational students would develop themselves comprehensively. In the case of limited resources, we would effectively utilize them, and meet teachers’ and students’ demands as far as possible.
Liu affirmed students’ constructive suggestions in improving the conditions of school operation, thanked students’ support and senses of ownership, and hoped that students could study hard, participate in social practices actively, and become contributing members of society in the future.
