On the morning of September 14, to the sound of the national anthem, the People’s Republic of China flag was raised on the playground. Political commissar Guo Chunhong presented the list of trainees. Colonel Wang Yuhua organized their mobilization, and affirmed their determination on behalf of all instructors to train rigorously. Zhang Xinyu, freshman representative of the Community Management and Service Department, delivered a speech, and expressed his confidence and perseverance at completing the training objective.
Zhang Ruizhi, director of the CWU Student Affairs Office and minister of the Armed Forces Department, expressed her heartfelt thanks to the instructors, teachers and all the new students. From the perspective of personnel training, personal growth, and CWU tradition, Zhang stated that such military training was very important.
