3rd CWU Career Competition Kicks off
To raise students’ awareness of planning their careers and developing their comprehensive abilities in the workplace, the league committee of China Women’s University (CWU) launched the finals of its 3rd career competition on October 20.
China Entrepreneur Club CEO and founder Zhuang Yan; Best (Beijing) Management Consulting Co. founder Chang Yanwei; Marketing Director of Minsheng Insurance Yan Lijie;Vice-director of CWU department of personnel Ren Xiyuan; and, career instructors from School of Management were all invited as judges of the event.
The competition was divided into preliminary, semi and final stages, attracting more than 250 students to join. By way of selection, a total of 25 candidates entered the finals.
Players’ were judged on their innovation at a group discussion and in a many-to-many interview. The two parts of the finals won praise from the professional panel and audiences.
In the end, Chen Haoying from the School of Gender and Social Development won first prize. Yang Yinping and Liu Mingyan from the School of Management, and Zeng Yunlei from the Department of Finance came second. Zhang Xinfu from the Department of Finance, Bai Longlong from the Department of Foreign Languages, Fan Yong from the School of Gender and Social Development, and Shao Zixuan and Zhang Lu from the School of Management, as well as Kong Yilin from School of Higher Vocational,came third.
The competition established a platform for students to present themselves. It raised students’ all-round abilities in practice and innovation, and helped them to meet the needs and reach their goals in their future workplaces.
