Luo hoped that CWU could share its valuable experience in how to insist on the good characteristics of women’s universities; how to set up a curriculum in women’s studies; and, how to do a good job in teaching undergraduate courses, proficiency assessment, and the construction of civil servants.

On behalf of CWU, Li warmly welcomed the delegation, and stressed the importances of unity between women’s universities. Li said that only by working together could they broaden their existing space and future development. He also introduced CWU’s middle-level civil servants construction scheme, its institutional setting, undergraduate teaching evaluation and student affairs, among other topics.

In order to highlight CWU’s outstanding position as a talent training centre, Song introduced the university’s efforts in policy-making, system design, teaching reform and faculty construction.

Later, directors from the Organization Department, Personnel Division, Teaching Affairs Office, and other functional departments communicated and exchanged opinions on their common concerns. After the meeting, HWU delegates visited the China Women & Gender library.
