CWU Students Take Part in 1st Session of Entrepreneurship Training Camp



The first session of the student entrepreneurship training camp was held in China Women’s University (CWU) on October 24.

Director of the Recruitment and Employment Office Bao Qinglin attended and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Entrepreneurship counselor of the Guidance Center for Graduates in Beijing Higher Institutes Zhao Chao; vice-director of the Employment Office at Minzu University of China Chu Ping; Founder of Beijing Century Jiechuang Science and Technology Ltd. Huang Jie; and staff from the Recruitment and Employment Office were all present at the event.

Bao pointed out that CWU has been always attached importance to cultivating students’ ability and consciousness in innovation and entrepreneurship, and has set up platforms to support various projects in this field. He said that he also expected CWU students to make an impact in the context of nationwide entrepreneurship.

Different experts with rich practical experience gave highly-entertaining lectures on the optimization of the entrepreneurial mindset, stimulating creation, resource integration, promoting startups, making analyses and guidance for those who want to start their own businesses. The talks aimed help students tackle their confusions in thoughts, concepts and business models; provide financial, legal and regulation assistance; and, guide them on how to push and operate a public account on China's popular social media app, WeChat.

Student participants at the training camp expressed that the experience was a practical and handy lesson to help them make good use of their knowledge.

In the end, Professor Bao Qinglin and experts issued course-completion certificates to students.
